Arts Residencies
Rancho Linda Vista has a number of opportunities for artists to stay, from a few days to a month. During stays, artists can carve out time and space to focus on new forms and ideas, explore the desert wilderness and interact with other creatives.
An artist residency is awarded once a year to a gifted visual artist for a one-month summer stay. The award includes a private 1-bedroom house, barn studio, and $1,000 stipend. The 2025 application process is now open and closes April 27.

During the regular course of the year, the guest house and associated barn studio are available to artists to rent for a month-long stay. There is a flat fee of $700. Visual artists, writers, dancers, composers, filmmakers, architects, and other creatives are welcome. This is an ideal opportunity for artists who seek a concentrated period of time to focus on work and explore new directions.
